The door closed with a sickening thud. I could feel my body trembling, causing the open sores on my wrists to tear further on the rope binding them together. The silhouette of the man whom had closed the door loomed above me, staring down at my naked body crumpled on the floor where he had left me the last time.
I can hear the jingle of his belt buckle now, a menacing sound that warns me to close my eyes, lest I see the offending object about to attack me again. A hand grips my ankle as I'm pulled to lay out straight. I try to struggle, but I already know it's useless. Hands hold me down and I try to ignore as I feel his weight descend upon me. I long ago abandoned the urge to scream, and instead just waited. After what seemed like forever, but was probably only minutes, I feel the weight removed from my body, and I pull my legs back to me again. I barely register the sense of pain that once rampaged through my body after one of his "sessions".
The sound of his belt buckle jingles through the small room again, assuring me it was safe to open my eyes once again. He leaves through that same door, yet this time it closes silently. How long will it be this time before he comes visiting again, and that door will close with that same sickening thud? I pray that I die before that time comes.

I missed this story in the confusion.  Good work.  I might even go let Betty out of the basement.  lol.  Some things I have to add humor to.  No offense.
None taken :) I feel the same way sometimes. Thank you very much for the compliment. :)

The door closed with a sickening thud.  Daddy was home from work.  We all scattered to our rooms as he threw his briefcase and hat on the sofa.

"Chris?  Where are you?"  Mr. Cameron yelled.

"I'm in here making dinner, Sweetie."

He found her in the kitchen.  "Where  are those terrible children?  Did they obey you today?"

"They were all sweet angels, Dear.  David was a few minutes late from school, but his bike was stolen."

Furiously, Cameron yelled "David!  Get down here!"

The drama would continue until David admitted that he didn't fasten the bicycle correctly and Mr. Cameron would beat David senseless.

Mrs. Cameron watched on as usual - knowing that she would be the next victim of her husband's violence over chicken or meatloaf or pork chops.

It went on and on until Mr. Cameron died of a stroke.  Everyone else lived happily ever after.

My favorite monsters

The door closed with a sickening thud.  We were at Kennywood Park and we had just entered Noah’s Ark which has been around forever but was recently revamped to meet more modern standards.  I know when I was a kid we didn’t think how truly dangerous it actually was.  The new walk thru attraction starts out with 10 or 12 people huddling together in an old copper elevator.  The host gives a simple story to set you up then the floors start to shake and the see thru wall look like you are going up, then with a violent (as much as a kiddie ride could be) lurch the elevator goes back down finally crashing to the sub floor.  It’s all fake, but what happened later that day wasn’t.

Sally and I had decided to hide somewhere in the park when it got dark and see if we could spend the night; No one but us two lovebirds finding our way around the dark and ourselves of course.  We had been dating for three months and Sally was never far away from me.  Her touch sent cascades of chills down my spine but still gave me the most comfortable feeling I could ever imagine.  Noah’s Ark would fit the bill.  Most of the ride was in the dark so we could just sneak over to the closet beside the elevator and hide out there until everyone went home.  Hours later I was getting pretty hot if you know what I mean.  Come on, I was only 17 years old.  Sally and I emerged from our “spot” and roamed the park taking care in the beginning to notice anyone that might be left over like a security guard.  There was not a soul around.

We danced down the middle of the fairway pretending to hear the calliope music as we went along.  We came to the Thunderbolt which is one of the last remaining kick ass roller coasters in the world and shimmied underneath its framework.  On the first hill there is a drop to a huge ravine.  We trundled down the pathway beside the coaster until we reached the very bottom.  There seemed to be some kind of maintenance building there and that would be the perfect make out spot.  I gingerly nudged the door ajar and took a peek inside.  There was no one and it was very dark inside.  I had brought a small candle and matches and I set up a grand candle lit atmosphere inside the building.  Things started heating up pretty quick.  Sally’s blouse was now part of my ensemble and I had a rather large bulge in my jeans.  We both almost peed ourselves when we heard a knock on the side of the building.  It was like fingernails tapping and then dragging along the wall.  Sally leapt into my arms and became a part of me.  I could feel the sweat and the cold chill that overcame her.  We heard the same sound on the other side of the building.  This time it was louder.  There was a small window but it was much too dark to see out, but could someone have seen the faint glow of the candle and spotted us half clothed and half way to home base?  I slowly inched my way to the edge of the door we entered and peaked my head out holding the lit candle as my only weapon.  A forceful stream of hot air blew out the candle and singed the hairs on the back of my hand.  A sweaty stocky arm came out of the darkness and grabbed my shoulder twisting me around to face…

the door closed with a sicking thud. Thats when dad told me they were getting a devorce. Im the one that thud the door loudly. Then i went outside. I could hear butterflies. Then two seconds later tears came down my eyes. It wasent just one, it was too  much. When i walked inside i tried to cover my face so people couldnt see my eyes. It was the middle of summer, almost end.  But i couldnt blame my parents. They werent in love anymore. Just thinking of it was heartbreaking.  I dreamed of me getting a perfect family. But it was almost perfect, now its just normal. When they came downstaires i stared at them for a good 20 miniets. They had cold faces, but who would blame them? I bet u cant even stand to be in the same room! Jessica yelled.  Now......honey Dad said.  Its complecated  and i want u to agree with our dissicion Mom said.  How Jessica said. They didnt really know how to. I mean who could blame the dissicion or the people who made it. Somtimes i wish i could life with nothing in my way. But its reality. Somtimes a girl like me has too find her way out of somethings. I hope i dont miss school tommorow Goodnight  Jessica said Goodnight? the parents thought. Then when i was in my room a tornado crashed 100 years later Im sitting on the fireplace and reading a story to my own children. My mom and dad are back together. And now im here in my house, safe from harm. Then the door slammed, honey im home my husband said. then we kissed once and then it ended.

I didn't get it.  100 years later?   One kiss and then it ended?  It sure made me think, though.
Sorry I didn't "get it" either.  But it was a good effort.  Keep writing.

Clowning Around

The door closed with a sickening thud!  I knew it had to be those damn clowns again.  I had only stopped at the carnival to get a funnel cake, but the fun house called out to me.  Once inside I got lost in the rooms full of mirrors and shaking floors.  It was mindless fun but it got my cranium away from my day to day troubles.  That was until the clowns arrived.  Everyone has the notion that clowns are fun loving people dressed up in colorful outfits with big grins painted on their faces.  There goal in life we are told is to make kids squeal with delight and make us belly laugh at their pratfalls and pranks.  In the fun house I ran across a gaggle of ghoulish clowns who most surely would slit your throat than give you a joy buzzer hand shake.  I was admiring my skinny form in the deformed mirror when I first spotted them.  Six satanic clowns with droopy makeup and the red rounded lips swollen making them look like devil clowns to me.  Instead of a happy chortle they began to taunt me with creepy laughter as in “we’re going to get you”.  They cornered me in the steel cage room and that was the end.  Each one grabbed a hefty chain and beat me to death.  I’m a clown now too; the kind that shows up in your dreams.

Anyone who pretends to be SO positive must have a sinister side, too.
Inked...I"m still waiting for my clown picture over on ThinkDraw.  I might have to keep writing clown stories until I get it.  I could write some real scary stuff...

The door closed with a sickening thud that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up as straight as a person with a four foot board tied to the front side of their body. My parents were out for their anniversary and they weren't supposed to be home till nine o'clock. I checked the clock, it read eight thirdy. My mother told me what to do in a situation like this, what did she say to do? I remebered that I wasn't paying attention because I was searching for Izzy when we were playing hide and seek. Thats it!!! I'm supposed to hide in the attic! Izzy is my little sister who is only two so my parents put her in a daycare center for their anniversary.
As I sprinted up the long seemingly endless spiral staircase I tripped over something and I fell hitting my head on the step. I looked at what I had tripped over and I saw Izzy's stuffed bear named JJ. I felt my head and it was red and sticky, blood was everywhere. Just then I felt a hand grab my back and hoisted me up, put a bag over my head, and took me away, that's all I remember.

TO BE CONTINUED!!!!!!

Lost

The door closed with a sickening thud. Gladys woke up covered in sweat, shaking. Was it a dream? Anothe nightmare? A squeak of a floorboard on one of the steps outside her bedroom convinced her otherwise. She swallowed a scream, squeezing the end of the blanket hard in her fist. For what seemed like an eternity there was no other sound, apart from the rhytmic clicking marking the passing of seconds. If she'd counted the beats, she'd have known that not one minute had passed, but in her alert state it felt like much, much more. She didn't know how long she could be still and yet all her muscles were clenched so tight she couldn't possibly move. The ticks kept going, but nothing else. She was starting to doubt herself, thinking she may have imagined it. A bad dream can make you nervous, she knew that all too well. And just when it was starting to sound convincing, she heard a sound that sent a chill through her spine. A door had opened. She didn't even realise that her eyes were closed, until a cold breeze touched her cheek and in a reflex, her eyelids popped up. What she saw was so unimaginable that at that point her mind detached from her body, never to return. She was found in the morning, still clutching the end of the blanket, pale as a ghost, her eyes out of focus, mumbling incoherenty. On her sheet was a single drop of blood.

Spots:  That was magnificent!  I was utterly entralled the whole way through.  It left me begging for more which it absolutely doesn't need.  The scare is in the imagination!
Thanks. :D
